On Saturday, March 25, 2023, we are once again hosting the International Fly-Fishing Film Festival® (IF4) in Halifax at the Halifax Central Library, Paul O’Regan Hall. IF4 consists of short and feature-length films produced by professional filmmakers from all corners of the globe, showcasing the passion, lifestyle, and culture of fly fishing. The films at this popular event capture the attention of anglers worldwide. We are lucky this year to have a film produced on one of our home rivers, the Margaree, which tells the story of the most unlikely of fish bums – Dollar Dog. This film was created by Nova Scotia filmmaker Tim Myers and is the only Canadian film chosen to represent Canada in the festival.
